On September 17th, BYD's premium brand Denza officially launched the 2026 model of its N9 SUV. The new model comes in three configurations: Prestige (389,800 yuan), Elite (409,800 yuan), and Flagship (449,800 yuan). All models feature BYD's e-Platform 3.0 technology, the C-DM intelligent suspension system, and the advanced DiLink 150 in-car infotainment system. Notably, actress Gao Yuanyuan was chosen as the brand ambassador, whose image of "rational technology and aesthetic beauty" perfectly aligns with the vehicle's positioning.
The exterior design continues the family design language, maintaining dimensions of 5258×2030×1830mm (wheelbase 3125mm). Five new dual-tone paint options, including Frosty Cloud Tea and Purple Gold, are available. Standard features include 22-inch wheels and an active air grille (AGS). The new model features a closed-face design with split matrix headlights, and the AGS further optimizes aerodynamic performance.
The interior adds a "Golden Mountain Brown" color scheme, with a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. It features a three-screen interactive system (13.2-inch instrument panel, 17.3-inch central touchscreen, and passenger screen) and a 50-inch AR-HUD. The Elite and Flagship models add a zero-gravity passenger seat, a 17.3-inch ceiling screen, and Nappa leather seats. The Flagship model exclusively features a 26-speaker Devialet sound system.
The 2026 Denza N9 utilizes the DiLink 150 in-car infotainment system and introduces the "Golden Mountain Brown" interior color. It comes equipped with a 13.2-inch LCD instrument panel, a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 13.2-inch passenger screen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD. In terms of luxury features, the Denza N9 features a 6-seat layout (2+2+2) with a zero-gravity passenger seat, a fold-down table in the second row, dual 50W wireless phone charging, a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen, and a refrigerator. Additionally, the front and second-row seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the third-row seats have power adjustment and heating.
The powertrain combines a dedicated 2.0T plug-in hybrid engine (207 hp) with three electric motors (total power 680kW), achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds, a pure electric range of 202-230 km (CLTC), and a combined range of 1302-1330 km. Key technological highlights include:
e-Platform 3.0: Independent drive for each wheel and VMC (Vehicle Motion Control) ensure stability at high speeds and prevent skidding on slippery roads;
BYD e-Suspension-A: Dual-chamber air suspension with predictive control, supporting ±50mm travel and 550mm wading depth;
BYD ADAS System B: Equipped with LiDAR and 12 cameras, supporting map-less urban navigation and parking-to-parking navigation (OTA update planned for Q4).
BYD is offering a limited-time purchase incentive for the 2026 Denza N9, including a RMB 10,000 discount on the two-tone body color option (originally RMB 30,000), a RMB 20,000 discount on the anti-motion sickness system, and up to RMB 30,000 in optional equipment credits.
