On September 22, 2025, Denza officially unveiled the official images of the N8L, a large, six-seat, luxury SUV, and announced that pre-sales will begin on September 26. As Denza's latest offering for family users, the N8L is built on the e3 platform, combining luxurious space, intelligent technology, and powerful performance, and will compete directly with models like the AITO M8 and Lixiang L8.
The new vehicle continues Denza's latest design language. The front features a closed grille with parallel daytime running lights, vertical LED headlights on either side, and a trapezoidal active air intake grille, creating a grand and imposing visual effect. The side profile features a floating roof design (with blacked-out B/C/D pillars), hidden door handles, and 21-inch low-drag wheels, resulting in a drag coefficient as low as 0.29Cd. A standard LiDAR module on the roof indicates advanced autonomous driving capabilities.
In terms of dimensions, the standard version measures 5200×1999×1820mm (length, width, height) with a wheelbase of 3075mm; the drone version has a height of 1990mm, with other dimensions remaining the same. Compared to the current Denza N9, the length is 58mm shorter and the wheelbase 50mm shorter, but through optimized space utilization, it still offers a comfortable six-seat layout.
While official details of the interior have not yet been released, according to regulatory filings, the vehicle will feature:
A 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen + a 12.3-inch full-LCD instrument panel
Dual rear entertainment screens + a built-in refrigerator
Nappa leather seats (with heating/ventilation/massage functions)
A 24-speaker Dynaudio sound system
For autonomous driving, it will be equipped with the "Tian Shen Zhi Yan B" system, including one LiDAR, 12 cameras, and 5 millimeter-wave radars, supporting city/highway navigation assist and automated parking functions. Innovatively offering a drone-equipped version, the vehicle features the "LingYuan" intelligent in-vehicle drone system, supporting 100W fast charging and intelligent drone-following capabilities.
The powertrain consists of a 2.0T engine (152kW) and three electric motors (200kW front motor + dual 180kW rear motors), with a combined power output of 762 horsepower, paired with a 46.992kWh battery pack. Under WLTC conditions:
Standard version: 170km pure electric range, 6.95L/100km fuel consumption (after battery depletion)
Drone version: 160km pure electric range, 7.45L/100km fuel consumption (after battery depletion)
The chassis features the intelligent body control system, supporting CDC variable damping and air suspension (high-end models), balancing comfort and handling.
As a sibling model to the Denza N9, the N8L targets the 300,000-400,000 RMB luxury SUV segment with a more youthful design and family-oriented positioning. Its key competitive advantages include:
A unique drone integration feature;
Powerful performance from the e3 platform;
Standard LiDAR and advanced driver-assistance systems;
Spacious 6-seat interior for family travel;
The new vehicle is expected to start at around 380,000 RMB, creating a price tier below the current N9. With pre-orders starting on September 26, more configuration details and pricing information will be released, making it a model worth watching for potential buyers.
