On October 10, 2025, the BYD Han family will welcome the Intelligent Driving Pilot Extended Edition. The new model features fifth-generation DM technology and the "God's Eye" intelligent driving system. The DM-i version boasts a 96% increase in pure electric range to 245km compared to the current model, while the EV version's range is also increased to 635km. The starting price may be under 190,000 RMB, directly targeting competitors such as the Tesla Model 3 and Xpeng P7.
DM-i model: Equipped with the fifth-generation DM hybrid system, the NEDC pure electric range increases from 125km to 245km, with a combined fuel consumption of 3.49L/100km. It utilizes a 200kW front-wheel drive motor, boasting a 38% increase in peak torque compared to the current model, and is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in under 6 seconds.
EV Model: CLTC range increased to 635km, matched with an 800V high-voltage platform and ultra-low power consumption of 10.6kWh/100km. A 15-minute charge provides 300km of range.
Chassis Technology: All models are equipped with the Yunnian-C intelligent damping body control system as standard. Using five sensors to adjust the shock absorbers in real time, the vehicle achieves a roll angle of only 3.2° during high-speed cornering, surpassing the BMW 5 Series (3.8°).
Hardware Configuration: A roof-mounted LiDAR, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars. The computing platform has been upgraded to 200TOPS, supporting BEV+Transformer fusion perception.
Functional Availability: The God's Eye advanced intelligent driving system enables:
City lane-cutting detection and response speed is 0.3 seconds faster than humans;
High-speed NOA pilot assist has a zero takeover rate of 98.7%;
The uniquely developed TBC tire puncture stabilization system increases the controllable driving distance after a tire puncture to 1km.
Interaction Innovation: The electronic hand-shift replaces the traditional gear lever, freeing up center console space with integrated flip-top dual cupholders and a 5L smart refrigerator (with -6°C to 50°C temperature control).
Material Optimization: The piano lacquer finish has been replaced with a fingerprint-resistant metal coating and leather upholstery, with two new matte paint finishes: Frost Gold and Pine Shadow Green.

Compared to the current Han DM-i's starting price of 168,800 RMB, the additional version, after comprehensive upgrades in range, intelligent driving, and chassis, will offer a competitive price-performance advantage over joint venture hybrid models such as the Camry Hybrid if its final price is, as rumored, set within 190,000 RMB.
