On October 11, 2025, Denza Automotive released its annual blockbuster OTA update to Z9/Z9GT users, introducing over 40 new features across three key areas: intelligent interaction, safety, and intelligent driving experience. This upgrade incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as gesture control and omnidirectional driving recording, redefining the "feel-free" driving experience for luxury new energy vehicles.
Gesture-Controlled Front Door Opening
A new "thumbs-up" sensor area has been added to the driver and front passenger doors. It automatically opens the power doors within 0.3 seconds by recognizing gesture commands, eliminating the pain point of opening the doors with both hands.
AR Foot-Sensing Tailgate
A virtual icon recognition area is projected onto the rear ground, allowing a light step to trigger the trunk opening. Combined with millimeter-wave radar anti-pinch detection, the error rate is less than 0.1%.
Smart Unlocking System
Using UWB ultra-wideband technology, it enables automatic unlocking and locking within a 3-meter range, with centimeter-level key location accuracy.
Omnidirectional Dash Cam
Added simultaneous recording of four-way surround view (front, left, right, and rear), supporting automatic saving of 30 seconds of video before and after an accident, with a resolution of up to 4K @ 30fps.
Denza Life Guard System
Infrared cameras and cabin radar monitor vital signs in real time, automatically triggering sunroof ventilation and an SOS alarm after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Highway ETC Intelligent Driving Linkage
Automatically identifies ETC lanes with pilot assistance, enabling "zero-operation" pass-through (requires optional LiDAR).

Perpendicular parking on dead-end roads: Using a compass-based U-turn algorithm, the minimum parking width is reduced to 5.8 meters.
Three optional speed modes: High-speed parking reduces parking time by 40% compared to the standard version.

Added a new "Conservative/Standard" dual-mode lane change strategy, improving overtaking response speed by 50% in Standard mode.

Upgrade Note: This OTA has been rolled out in batches and can be manually triggered by users through [Settings - System Update] on the vehicle's hardware. According to information filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Z9 series will also feature V2X vehicle-to-infrastructure collaboration, expected to be available via OTA in Q1 2026.
