In the 395th batch of "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products" recently released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the new version of Harmony LUXEED R7 has been officially declared. According to the public information, the new car continues the current coupe SUV shape, but cancels the laser radar configuration, and is suspected to launch a version without air suspension, which is expected to form a more people-friendly product matrix.
Body size: 4956×1981×1649mm, wheelbase remains at 2950mm, basically the same as the current Pro version;
Power system: equipped with Huawei Digital Energy TZ210XYA02 motor, power 215kW, pure electric drive;
Configuration adjustment: No laser radar module is seen on the roof (currently optional), and the declared information shows that it may cancel the air suspension system;
According to industry bloggers, the declared model is a non-air suspension version, and the price is expected to be lower than the current Pro version (starting at 259,800 yuan). This is similar to the adjustment strategy of the four-wheel drive version exposed in December last year-the version without laser radar at that time was reduced by about 40,000 yuan compared with the Ultra four-wheel drive version. The new car may further lower the entry threshold of Harmony LUXEED products.
Despite the simplified configuration, the new car still continues the design language of the Harmony LUXEED family, including iconic elements such as through-type lights and fastback shape. Referring to the existing models, it may continue to be equipped with the HUAWEI ADS basic version of the intelligent driving system, and adopt a visual fusion solution to achieve L2+ driving assistance.
At present, the Harmony intelligent driving product line has formed a diversified layout. In addition to the standard version and the simplified version reported this time, an extended-range version with a comprehensive range of 1,673km was also launched in April 2025. With the launch of the new version, LUXEED R7 will achieve full coverage of the 200,000-350,000 yuan price range.
